Gratitude Journal 20090328

I am thankful for or that

  1. Rain.
  2. Being able to go to a big event for my business.
  3. Money to buy gas for the van.
  4. The genuine warmth with which my friends and business partners welcomed me back.
  5. GAB’s friend J coming over to help her prime the walls of her bedroom.
  6. LEB cooking dinner.
  7. The rain finally stopped!
  8. Hot water for showers.
  9. The fan in our bedroom.
  10. Watching the NCAA men’s basketball tournament with the family on TV.

I acknowledge myself for

  1. Stepping out of my comfort zone and starting my business anew.
  2. Helping to set up for the business event.
  3. Doing laundry.
  4. Making the bed.
  5. Taking out the garbage.
  6. Taking out the recyclables.
  7. Taking a shower before bed.
  8. Working out Turbulence Training style.
  9. Wearing my pedometer.
  10. Brushing my teeth before bed.

I am thankful for or that

  1. Money to buy a big breakfast.
  2. The public library.
  3. Rain.

  5. Having money to buy dinner.
  6. Watching the basketball game with the family, but sorry Syracuse lost.
  7. Money to take the family out for ice cream.
  8. My friend and business partner Mr. Dari Spurgeon calling to invite me out for a beer with him and Mr. Alister Edwards.
  9. A warm, dry house on a cool, rainy night.
  10. LEB waiting for me after work so I didn’t have to ride the bus home.

I acknowledge myself for

  1. Riding the bus to work.
  2. Working hard and diligently on numerous tasks on the job.
  3. Walking to the library.
  4. Taking the family out for ice cream.
  5. Doing laundry.
  6. Making the bed.
  7. Working late to help with a problem.
  8. Going out with friends.
  9. Drinking lots of water.
  10. Reading 10+ pages and listening to 30+ minutes of personal development material.

  3. The kids doing kitchen patrol after dinner.

  5. Gas to drive and pick LEB up from work.
  6. Being able to leave work and pick up the boys from school since the school won’t let them walk home in the rain.
  7. High speed internet service at home.
  8. VPN.
  9. My cell phone.
  10. Our working washer and dryer.

  6. NCAA and NIT basketball tournaments on TV.
