Doing the Impossible in a Few Easy Steps

“All parents believe their children can do the impossible. They thought it the minute we were born, and no matter how hard we’ve tried to prove them wrong, they all think it about us now. And the really annoying thing is, they’re probably right” — Cathy Guisewite, Cartoonist

  • Step one is to have a clear vision of the impossible thing you want to accomplish. Write it down and hold it close to your heart.Visualize it every day. YOU CAN DO IT!
  • The second step in doing what others think is impossible is believing that YOU CAN DO IT!
  • The third step is remembering that there is probably at least one other person who believes that YOU CAN DO IT! Even if you can’t find that person, believe they are there and eventually they will show themselves.
  • The fourth step is to ignore those that don’t believe YOU CAN DO IT and just get on with DOING IT!
  • Step five is to DO IT NOW! Don’t wait, do something towards that impossible goal right now. Remember, Baby Steps!

That’s pretty much it. With that simple formula you can accomplish anything. But remember, you can never, ever quit.

“A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson 1803 – 1822, Poet and Essayist

  1. Read something to the effect of this somewhere “Impossible is just “I’m Possible” spelled by someone who had no clue of grammar and punctuations are.”

Most every successful person has traits like Patience, perserverance, discipline, positive self-talk and usually behave through situations that others lose their focus in.

Now, I go off to focus on at least one of those above mentioned. Have a wonderful sunday and a productive work week.
