So, I read chapter two of How to Think Like a Computer Scientist: Learning with Python and worked the exercises today. All except writing the madlibs script, which I had done a couple of months ago. It was pretty boring to write that only using what we have been taught in the first two chapters. We don’t know about arrays or other data structures or loops or other flow control constructs.
Anyway, it’s worth it to work through the book step by step again. I never finished it before. I will finish this time. There are only 13 chapters so I should be finished in 11 more days. However, I’m on call for the first time this week at my new job with Nuvox, so that may throw a wrinkle into my plans. We’ll see.
